About this programme
Start your career in digital technology through our paid 2-year trainee programme. You will rotate across different digital departments regularly to enhance your technical skillsets and familiarity with CLP’s digital functions. You can expect to work on exciting projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. An intense training curriculum will further enable you to develop a broad range of both technical and transferable skills.

When you’ve completed your programme with high performance, you’ll be offered a position in one of our digital departments, leading to a career path as a Manager and beyond or equivalent in the respective digital field.

Through this programme, you can:
- Progress to a full-time role in CLP Digital subject to satisfactory performance
- Learn different core digital technical skills including but not limited to:
- Software development, technology design, and project management skills
- Product design, agile delivery techniques and how to handle business cases and market research
- Data analytical skills, develop data insights and perform modelling for solving business problems
- Cyber risk assessment and analyse potential cyber threats
- Understand business environment and gain commercial sense
- Develop presentation, communication and management skills

To apply for this programme, you must...
- Be a final-year university student or recent university graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Digital, IT, STEM, Business, Psychology or other related disciplines
- Have excellent written and verbal English, proficiency in written and verbal Chinese is an advantage
- Be agile and adaptable
- Have strong career aspiration and drive to be future leaders
- Be a good team player
- Have outstanding communication skills
- Possess cultural awareness
